Finding gender neutral baby shower ideas can be tough! I was one of the rare unicorns out there that did not want to know at all, for either kid, whether I was having a boy or a girl. I remember my sister-in-law asking me what I had in mind for a theme because it was tough to find themes that weren’t gender-specific.
It can be challenge to find gender neutral baby shower ideas. If you look at Pinterest, Etsy and Amazon, it seems like gender-neutral themes are hard to come by.
Well, have no fear. I’ve done the dirty work for you.
There’s actually a lot of great gender-neutral baby shower themes out there; they’re just not in one spot. So, here are some of our favourite gender-neutral ideas to help you with your baby shower planning:

Help stock baby’s library by throwing a storybook baby shower! Not only is the theme perfect for a baby boy or baby girl, but you can ask guests to bring a book instead of a card to build up baby’s library and inspire their love of reading early.

Move over, llamas! There’s a new adorable animal climbing up the cuteness charts this year.
We love the idea of a sleepy sloth baby shower theme. It keeps the colours gender neutral and doesn’t really get any cuter, in my opinion!
The only downside is that this is a fairly new trend and theme that’s popping up this year, so you might have a bit more difficulty finding decorations to go with it. But if you check out Etsy or Amazon, you’ll be sure to find some cute decoration ideas.

One of the cutest baby shower themes around is a safari or jungle baby shower theme. We just love the idea of a bunch of cute little jungle animal decorations posted around while guests eat, mingle and get excited to meet the new little bundle of joy!

Inspire baby’s wanderlust right off the start with an “adventure awaits” themed baby shower! We just absolutely LOVE the idea of a gender-neutral travel themed baby shower.
There are so many possibilities for this kind of theme – tie it in with a vintage travel theme (decorate with some cute vintage suitcases, old cameras, retro travel posters, etc.)

Rub-a-dub-dub, there’s a new baby to love! This gender neutral shower idea is a cute and different theme that we haven’t seen used too often, so it would be unique. You could even ask guests to bring a themed shower gift of baby bath items for the little one, like:
